Mission: To feed and equip people in our community to break cycles of poverty.
One Life is a food pantry set up like a grocery store, instead of receiving a box full of food that does not fit your dietary needs (i.e., allergies or preferences). There is less food waste when you choose your food versus being handed a box of preselected items. They are open on Saturdays to meet the needs of those who work during the week. One Life also stocks pet food for your furry family members.
One Life is based in Downtown Vancouver in New Hope Church but serves all of Clark County.
Ways they Help:
Nutrition Education Cooking Classes and a Learning Garden help those gain the skills needed to live a healthy lifestyle and grow their own food.
Ways You Can Help:
Donating $25 will feed a family of four for a month. You can set up an automatic monthly donation with their Hunger Heroes Program or make a one-time donation.
They need volunteers to help stock shelves, maintain the Giving Garden, cook meals & help with distributions.
