Mission:

Kindness 911 is a nonprofit support organization connecting local law enforcement agencies with those they directly serve. Through thoughtful and intentional means, they recognize individuals/groups for their genuine, positive impact on their community.

What They Do

Kindness 911 strengthens connections between local law enforcement, first responders, and the communities they serve by intentionally recognizing acts of kindness and positive community impact. Through its Kindness Citation program, officers—known as Kindness Cops & Crew—surprise individuals and groups for genuine acts of compassion, appreciation, or goodwill, and those recognitions unlock charitable donations made in their honor to local nonprofits. Kindness 911 also supports first responders and the community through Comfort Dog Mira, who provides encouragement and emotional support by engaging with officers, community members, and middle school students, including those with intellectual disabilities.

Ways You Can Help

Nominate a Hero: Submit a local hero or someone who goes above and beyond so they can be recognized for their positive impact in the community.
Participate in a Kindness Citation: If you receive a Kindness Citation, share your experience online to help unlock a charitable donation made in your honor to a local nonprofit.
Support Through Giving: Donate directly to Kindness 911 to help fund community recognition efforts and support charities connected to local law enforcement and first responders.
