Mission:

The mission of Rising Above Daily is to provide mentorship in a safe and positive community for our youth, at no cost to families. Our hope is that Rising Above Daily Youth Ranch will be a place where kids can find connection, acceptance, affirmation, hope, and courage to Rise Above life’s challenges, and to find ultimate peace in Jesus.

What Is Rising Above Daily?

Rising Above Daily is a nonprofit youth ranch in Camas, WA, serving kids ages 6–18 through free mentorship programs. They offer equine and sports activities in a safe, faith-centered environment where youth can build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging.

Where They Came From

Rising Above Daily was founded by Ehren and Kia Plummer, a local couple inspired to create a space of healing and belonging for teens. While reflecting on Psalm 37, Kia asked, “If money were no object, what would we want to do with our lives?” Ehren replied, “We should start a youth ranch.” That spark led them to envision a ranch featuring horses, a gym, and a pool—rooted in their passion for youth mentorship.

After months of searching, they purchased an eight-acre property in Camas, Washington, and began mentoring youth in April 2024, starting with one donated horse named “Big Gray,” which became a symbol of their mission

Rising Above Daily was officially incorporated as a nonprofit in March 2023. Their journey combines nearly 30 years of youth work, equine therapy, athletics, and ministry to address the rising challenges teens face.
